    History:
    Born almost as east as possible in the UWI (this worlds
    "TheNetherlands"), he grew up in not the most wealthy of families, and
    alsovery close to the Gaul border, luckily for him, the Gaul never
    realyreached far enough for him to notice too much, only stories
    andmilitary comming past.He learned a load about water and
    preventing it from getting intoplaces, becouse he lived in an area that
    was actualy build under thewater level, at the age of 13, he was
    walking through a forest east ofhis home town, when he came across a
    swamp, in the distance, he couldsee something shine a bit, he made his
    way to the shiny thing, andnoticed it was a metal thing, he had seen
    simular ones going towardsthe Gaul border, they were steam machines,
    the only problem was, themachine was too stuck in the swamp to do
    anything with it, though hewas miraculously able to take out the most
    important part, the steamengine itself, he secretly took it to the
    basement of his house, wherehe tried to get it working, it took nearly
    a year for him to get itworking, by that time, he already knew every
    inch of the piece ofmachinery, and now tried to build one himself, a
    couple of times hefailed, but then, he succeeded, this engine, he put
    on a cart, whichwas normally pulled by a horse, after a couple of days
    of tinkeringaround, he got the thing to run, the people in the town
    were amazed,word quickly spread round... which also meant the military
    heard of it,before Jan could teach anyone else how to build a steam
    engine, he gottaken away, together with his steam engines, though,
    instead of throwninto prison, he was offered a job as a steam mechanic,
    which he gladlyaccepted.After working several years as a
    mechanist, he had advanced a couple of ranks, because he appeared to be
    very good with steam engines, he nowcould lead 3 mechanics and 2 test
    pilots. (I'll add more, ran out of time for now ^^)

    Born into the Andal Military, he found out shortly after turning 21
    that the REAL money (and fun) came from free contracting (plus he just
    wanted to found a bigass city on an island)

    Goals/Motivation: The freedom of the Western Isle from the domineering dominion of her neighbors.

    Backing: 2 – Gregory is not the sole spymaster in Western Intelligence though he is one of their more successful ones so he has considerable backing.

    Wealth:

    Command: 1 – Western Intelligence was never a large organization.

    Resources: 1 - Gregory has amounted a small amount of personal resource that he can use at his descretion.

    Spies: 3 – Every spymaster needs spies. Gregory’s network includes quite a few.

    Tech:

    Influence: 2 – White can pull a few strings and call in a few favors if he has to.

    Significant Items:

    Poison globe: A device originally developed by Gaul scientists. The alchemy formulae was stolen by Gregory’s spies and then sent to West Isles Research and Development Branch. As the man responsible for the devices retrieval it was in the branches opinion that the spymaster be one of the first to receive the finished product. As of now the globe will only burn when released. Dealing considerable damage to one’s eyes but only capable of small radius due to the size of the actual globe. A toxic and lethal version of the globe is currently under development.

    Personality:

    He is not by nature a cruel man though he has no qualms to committing cruel deeds. Taking the roll of what must be done in order to survive; Gregory will do whatever it takes to see the West Isles safe. Among his fellow people he is often described as quiet but kind though those who know him more intimately know there is a iron core beneath that silence that can both inspire and cause fear.

    History:

    Born in West Isle. Brother slaughtered by Gaul. Got angry. Began to work for WII. Became very successful. Present.
