The Spammer.
I don't care who or how, or even why.
But when you got a free half hour Orc see about tagging most of the boards to only allow people in the appropriate usergroup to post there. Ideally with the RP DM listed as group moderator. Should at least keep the RPs clean in the future, even if intrest threads will have to be somewhere else.

I just make it so that the only place guests can post is in the introduction area. I've never had any problems.

The "guests" were formally registered members. I have since stopped the site from accepting members at the moment.

Re: The Spammer.
No I mean you have people registered and you have sub-groups. People can apply to join the sub-group(only admins or group-mods can accept them in) and only people of the appropriate sub-group can post on certain boards. It stops registered users from doing...this.

Re: The Spammer.
Well I already have moderator groups for each of the RPs. I could allow it so other members can join them, if that is what you mean.

Re: The Spammer.
It would; as an alternative, I can make a second group that just limits posting if that would be preferable.Kamica wrote:Wouldn't that give them mod powers?

Perhaps so; either method is fine with me.Kamica wrote:I think that's also sort of what he meant XD.
